As I dive deeper into the world of sailing, I am constantly learning about the various organizations, people and brands that make this sport and lifestyle so great. Recently, I discovered Code Zero Sportswear, a nautical lifestyle brand that is both ‘designed and endorsed by professional sailors.
Based out of Amsterdam, Code Zero takes inspiration from yacht racing and applies it to their sportswear. Their designs are worn by both professional and casual sailors. There is something for everyone with this brand. Their designs are unique and made from high-quality materials that not only showcase their elegance, but practicality as well. My favorite piece from their collection is the Halyard Softshell Jacket. It’s perfect for those chilly nights while photographing races on Lake Erie.
Code Zero is the official partner for many well-known sailing events like 52 Super Series, Superyacht Cup, Bol d’Or Mirabaud and Les Voiles d’ Antibes. They even released an exclusive collection for this year’s 35th America’s Cup entitled ‘The Heritage Collection.’ Code Zero also outfits the crew of S/Y Meteor, which I got to see firsthand while in Newport this past July.
Fellow sailors, if you are in the market for new gear, I highly recommend you check out this brand. You will not be disappointed! Check out some of the gear below:
